Grades 5-8 Field Setup & Work Bond Duties
Work Bond hours must be worked. If there is inclement weather you will need to sign up for another worked hour that is available. We have many openings during the season for everyone.

Work Bond Jobs For Grades 5th-8th Game at HHS Stadium TURF & GRASS Fields
- Job #1 Clock-Operator (bring your own chair):
- You will be pressing start and stop on a kitchen timer.
- Coaches will help you and will direct you if there is a stop clock other than half-time.
- Clock Operator and Scorekeeper sit at mid-field table on player side (50 yard line).
- The length of a game is 40 minutes, played in 20-minute halves with a 10 minute halftime.
- Play is based on a running clock (non-stop);with the clock being stopped for recognized coach’s and official’s and timeouts.
- One 1-minute time-out is allowed per team per half. A team does not need possession of the ball to call a time-out. The time-out, however will not begin until recognized by the official at a point when the ball is out of play. Any time-out not used is lost when the half expires.
- A 10-minute half time is allowed between halves. This may be shortened by mutual consent of coaches and officials.
- In the event of a tie score at the end of regular 20 minutes, played in 10-minute halves with a 5 minute break.
- Job #2 Scoreboard Flipper (bring your own chair):
- You will be flipping a scoreboard. Coaches will help you and will direct you if there is a stop clock other than half-time.
- Clock Operator and Scorekeeper sit at mid-field table on player side (50 yard line).
- Job #3 TURF & GRASS HS Field Setup (First Team to Arrive to Field):
- Scoreboard and clock from the brown deck box at Mr C East under the tree facing parking lot (Pick this up the Wednesday BEFORE your game). You will put this on the bench table of the team bench. See diagram on Jr Raiders Field Hockey Page>Grade 5-8 Field Setup/WorkBond
- Job #4 Field Breakdown (Last Team to Leave the Field):
- Will pick up any balls or equipment that has been left on the field.
- Will bring clock and scoreboard back to brown deck box at Mr C East on Monday following your game.
- Ensure that our fields are clean of trash after the game.
- Job #5 Bring Ice to Game- Put with Trainer on team bench
- You will bring a small cooler of ice and ziplock bags to your child's game field for injuries.
- You must also take it with you at the end of the game.
- Job #6 Arriving Trainer: You are at the field for first game
- Must be a designated Jr Raiders First Aid Responder. If you have AED, CPR and First Aid training, you must be cleared by our lead trainer Ronn Seamon. Contact him at: trainer@jrraiders.org Additionally if you would like to be a trainer, please speak with him about training opportunities.
- You will station yourself on the PLAYER SIDE of the field. You are the only parent other than coaches and directors who are permitted on this side of the field.
- Pickup Red AED bag Wednesday prior to Sunday game in Black Job Box on field facing away from parking lot for all HIGH SCHOOL TURF AND HIGH SCHOOL GRASS GAMES.
- First aid kit is with each coaching team. Have them give this to you.
- Return First Aid kit to your coaching team
- Job #7 Departing Trainer: You are at the field for last game.
- Must be a designated Jr Raiders First Aid Responder. If you have AED, CPR and First Aid training, you must be cleared by our lead trainer Ronn Seamon. Contact him at: trainer@jrraiders.org Additionally if you would like to be a trainer, please speak with him about training opportunities.
- You will station yourself on the PLAYER SIDE of the field. You are the only parent other than coaches and directors who are permitted on this side of the field.
- Bring Red AED bag back to practice field on Monday AFTER the game and put back in Black Job Box on field facing away from parking lot for all HIGH SCHOOL TURF AND HIGH SCHOOL GRASS GAMES.
- First aid kit is with each coaching team. Have them give this to you.
- Return First Aid kit to your coaching team
Away Games
• You will bring a small cooler of ice and ziplock bags to your child's game field for injuries.
• You must also take it with you at the end of the game.
Job #2: Trainer for AWAY Game- On Bench with Team
- Must be a designated Jr Raiders First Aid Responder. If you have AED, CPR and First Aid training, you must be cleared by our lead trainer Ronn Seamon. Contact him at: trainer@jrraiders.org Additionally if you would like to be a trainer, please speak with him about training opportunities.
- You will station yourself on the PLAYER SIDE of the field. You are the only parent other than coaches and directors who are permitted on this side of the field.
- First aid kit is with each coaching team. Have them give this to you.
- Return First Aid kit to your coaching team
- You will use AED provided by Hosting Team

Job A) Bring a Easy Up Tent
- Set It Up
- Break It Down
- Bring It Home
Job B) Bring a Table for Refreshments
- Setup JUST the Table Under the Tent (you are not bringing the refreshments)
- Break the Table down
- Bring it Home
Job C) Setup Refreshments & Supervise Table:
- Take Parent Collections
- Organize and Replenish as needed.
- Bring Garbage Can with Bag from Parent Brown Deckbox Facing Parking Lot Near the Table
Job D) Cleanup Refreshment Table
- Have Parents Take the Leftovers Home
- Clean up and bring trash bag to white trashcan near parking lot
- GIve any extra food and drink unclaimed to coaches
